Mailchimp Integration

Overview​

This microsite feature will subscribe people to the CPD mailing list. All signups will be automatically tagged Microsite-Signup , you can add any additional custom Mailchimp Tags you choose.

There are 4 possible locations for the signup-button:

  1. A row just above the footer
  2. Replacement for the registration button in the banner
  3. As an "alert-style" row just below the banner
  4. Anywhere as button only using the shortcode

It is not currently possible to show the button in more than one location on the same page.

Settings​

Unlike other shortcodes, you must complete the settings to enable this feature, even if you're only using the button-only option.

The settings can be adjusted in Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options > Analytics SEO Automation (Tab)

There are two settings:

1. Mailchimp Signup Tag​

One tag is required to enable the feature, choose this (these) wisely in consultation with marketting. The format is as follows:

Tag 1,Tag-2,This is Another Tag

eg: Comma-separated and no leading / trailing spaces.

2. Mailchimp Signup Location​

In this dropdown select where you want the button to appear. If you're only using the shortcode (for example to include it in a block of text) then select "Do Not Show / Shortcode Only".
